Personally I hope not, I dont personally rate the lower half of the Dutch league, some very average players out there. looks like a lot of his career he has done a job but then soon replaced.

OK, but at least there wouldn't be any transfer fee, since Mäenpää has no contract with Venlo right now. There you can see a bit of how Mäenpää plays:

Antti Niemi is a great appointment.

Jury's out on the rumoured Finnish number one coming in but I'll reserve judgement until I see him play. Can't be bad having all that international experience though, and the Finns have produced some great keepers in the past with Niemi, Jaaskelainen and Huttunen all top drawer
