I've got no idea what this is about but it's a very, very rare thing where a thread gets removed completely on NSC.

I don't run (and I use the term loosely) a messageboard to stop people posting. NSC has always had a very light moderating hand and that is always likely to remain the case as long as I'm around. If anything we get more criticism for under-moderating, and not for being over-zealous with the moderating controls.

Our mods give up their time for nothing to help keep the site ticking along - sometime they may get a moderating decision wrong - we're all human after all. However, I do believe that the mods we currently have will only make decisions for what they believe to be the right reasons, and that's all I and we can ask.

I'm tired and jaded after a long boozy day to Donny and back yesterday. I literally can not wait to snuggle up in bed with the iPad to watch MotD2.

What Bozza gets up to in private with his missus on a Sunday evening is none of our business. Is Match Of The Day 2 better than a porno ???

I just read the above and burst out laughing, the wife said "Whats so funny" I read out the above to her, she said....."your weird"!!!

A threat from a third party to take legal action against NSC (or any other forum) doesn't necessarily mean than there is a case for the forum owner/publisher to answer. Sometimes legal threats are no more than hot-air responses from people who feel aggrieved by criticism.

But that doesn't matter. Legal threats are a pain to deal with. Not everyone can get away with dealing with an allegation of libel by responding in the manner of Private Eye's legendary reply in the case of Arkell v Pressdram:-

Mr Arkell's lawyers:- "His attitude to damages will be governed by the nature of your reply."

Private Eye's lawyers:- "We acknowledge your letter of 29th April referring to Mr J. Arkell. We note that Mr Arkell's attitude to damages will be governed by the nature of our reply and would therefore be grateful if you would inform us what his attitude to damages would be, were he to learn that the nature of our reply is as follows: **** off."

Totally. After all mode were quite happy to not take any action against the totally hatstand member who was repeatedly posting anti vaccination propaganda on a thread about Russell Brand. That's liberal that is.

That is the most blatant "suck up to Bozza" post ever on this forum. Not sure why you bothered though, you are already a moderator, what more are you after?

With regards to the pulled thread, the least subtle and dignified troll on here cast his line out (allegedly, I suspect he was being perfectly serious with his naive opinions) and got the result he was hoping for. He'd best go elsewhere now. Removing the thread was a controversial decision and a mistake in my opinion.

That's only because Bozza can't suck up to himself. If he could, those posts would be the best suck up to bozza posts ever. You're just jealous you're not as good as bozza so don't get praised as much.
