Good calls on Sweet Child O' Mine. One of my favourite tunes (as a guitarist I appreciate a damn good riff)

But the best intro has to be Welcome to the Jungle by Guns and Roses. What a way to open a debut album (Lies doesn't count).

At the foot of the downs
My Last Seranade - Killswitch Engage opens with a beautifull melody that completly disguises the wall of noise that soon hits you straight in the face. Brilliant !!

nothing can beat the amazing sound of timmy c's bass at the start of 'bullet in your head' by the one and only rage against the machine.

That is old Yorkie!

The earliest attempt at a music video, that I saw, was a Johnny Kidd song. It showed film of the Grand National with horses failing and falling at the jumps.

The song was "I'll never get over you"

For me it would have to be "Another Girl Another Planet" by the Only Ones. Can anything beat it?

Prefer The Who's version.

It really "quivers down my backbone"

Personally I prefer

Sussex By The Sea

As that introduces the Mighty Brighton and Hove Albion on to the field.

Next season........bring it on, I can't wait
