Not sure if he was well known outside of Oz or not but..

Peter Brock was one of the nations most decorated and adored motorsport drivers died after crashing during the Targa rally.

If things come in 3's please lock David Boon away somewhere safe!!!

Just spoke to my Mum, shes in tears. She knew him very well when she was younger (her best friend was his first wife).

God bless Peter perfect, saw you last weekend and can't believe you're gone. King of the Mountain forever.

If someone dies in a rally - is it accidental ? It is sad - but it is all part and parcel of racing isn't it ?

Yes usually. It is part and parcel of racing, and we understand that when we take to the track, but doesn't make it any easier when it does happen.
