Orlandi was on TalkSport t'other day discussing El Classico, he was thoughtful and articulate and gave the impression that he was very clever compared to the average footballer.

What? More intelligent and articulate than say Jermaine Defoe or John Terry?

What is apparent from the video montage of Orlandi is that he could cross a ball which has been somewhat lacking from the rest of the team this season, so what does Burke do? He lets him go! Top work Burke/Jones.

This time last year there was a concerted effort from the fans to persuade the club to re-sign Spanish Dave. Did it influence the club? Who knows?
I'd back a similar campaign for Andrea Orlandi.

It reminds me of when Hoddle omitted Gascoigne from France 98. Suddenly the most skillful player on the team had been discarded.
