Cyprus refers to southern (greek) Cyprus. Northern Cyprus isnt recognised by fifa and I dont think that will change any time soon.

Football is pretty big in Southern Cyprus with some fairly well supported teams taking into account the size of the country. Apoel Nicosia have made the group stages of the champions for the second time having made the knockouts for ghe second time this year but nationally they've never qualified for the Euros so even if northern cyprus were recognised by fifa they would be quite some way behind their southern neighbours IMO.


The GSP stadium is home to the Cypriot national team as well as Apoel, Olympiakos and Omonia and at just under 23k is very modern and pretty impressive.
