Waste of time - everyone knows Gus doesn't play the wingers so anyone on the far right will just be warming the bench. Palace can have him.

In London village.
It wasn't really a far right salute though was it? More of a Black Panthers solidarity salute.

The media are being quite lazy about this, calling it "right-wing" etc. There are plenty of right wingers who wouldnt want to be associated with this.

His fan club are in Brighton next Sunday, I think.

Dont agree with the death penalty, all too easy to dispense of a criminals life, no matter what the crime, (even though he took so many lives) or the cost of keeping him alive. He should be kept in confinement until he snuffs it. Make him endure a life behind bars in a cell.
There is a fine line between justice, and revenge.

Sure the guy is a nutter and/or a mass murderer, but has anyone stopped to wonder what exactly it was that drove his twisted mind to decide on taking these actions?

Is there too much immigration worldwide which is changing countries beyond all recognition and damaging traditional lifestyles?

Is Islam a threat to the World?

You can dismiss all his beliefs as those of a madman, or you can look a little deeper to see whether there are perhaps some real issues which need to be addressed.

It was the same with 9/11. I didn't for one moment condone what happened, but my first question was what exactly had driven those terrorists to take the action they did. Just possibly was the USA partly to blame for what happened by taking such a pro-Israel, anti-Arab stance and not sorting out the Israel/Palestine problem decades ago?

I dont think there are 'issues to be addressed' in this case. Anybody who murders 70 kids on the premise of self defence is a fecking lunatic.

EDL nitwits in the UK often declare that Sharia Law will be state law in the UK within 20 years, despite not many Islamic states adopting it, as well as being rather stupid with only 5% of the population in the UK being Islamic. They are delusional, as is this Breivik halfwit. The right wing makes up bullshit in order to exist. As for 911, Al Qaeda has consistantly claimed the attack was retribution (mad I know) for Infidel troops (US Military) being stationed in the Islamic holy land (Saudi Arabia).

Really starting to dislike the lazy use of "right-wing". It should be preceeded or followed by the use of the word Extremist when describing filth like Breivik.

This trial is f***ing me off why the hell give this wanker his day in the sun comments like

"I have carried out the most spectacular and sophisticated attack on Europe since World War II," Anders Behring Breivik told the court.

Breivik also told the court that he would do it all again.

Although he admits the bombing and attack on a youth camp, he has pleaded not guilty to terror and mass murder.

"These acts are based on goodness, not evil," he said, adding that he had toned down his rhetoric out of concern for the victims.

the mans disgusting scum

"I did this to protect my country and people, I should be acquitted" This bloke is a f***ing nutcase, how could anyone be surprised.

The EDL's political wing, the British Freedom Party's founder had this to say

just says it all about the EDL and its friends.

..They're not? Shout the same things as the national front, and I thought moron was another word for extreme-right-wing?

I agree... ... but I think EDL wankers are just a bunch of idiots who want to fight people...not a lot of political nous among them.

It was quite funny with EDL claiming that anybody who 'liked' their page showed that they supported the EDL. When I questioned them on whether Breivik was a member, as he had 'liked' the EDL page, and even attended one of their 'dancing with lager' parades somewhere I was banned from the EDL page..haha.

ONLY 5%! The Nazis were only polling 3% in Germany in the twenties but in less than twenty years they were causing havoc throughout Europe, and there were many in this country then who refused to see the danger, while mocking and insulting those who were warning of what was happening.
5% is a frightening large figure for a group that could be numbered as a few thousand when I was born; and a group which to a great extent refuses to assimilate and becomes more, rather than less, entrenched in its views with succeeding generations.

If you believe that Islam will take over the country with 5% of the population thats your right, but theres a difference with polling (3% of the German population), and amount of people involved (5% of the UK muslim commity as a whole), If we go with that assumption that all of the muslim community in the UK wanting Britain to be an Islamic state, that would be wrong, as the 5% includes children under the voting age, and most muslims I know, have no desire for Britain to be an Islamic state. In fact, no muslims that I know want Britain to be an Islamic state...only the muslim equivalents of the EDL/BNP talk this rubbish. It would take some extraordinary feat for 5% of the population to change the lives in such a way of the other 95%.
