An acceptable family?

The priority must be the child. Call me old fashioned, homophobic or anything you like, but I believe a child should have a male father and a female mother. No women could replace my father and no man could ever replace my mother.

Well ... that rules out 25% of all children living in the UK.

From:- BBC NEWS | UK | One-parent families on the rise

Nearly a quarter of children lived with only one parent last year (2006) and nine out of 10 of those households were headed by lone mothers.

They will probably love and care for and raise that child better than alot of mixed sex parents. Generally speaking one parent will form the paternal role anyhow. Just because you don't have a penis doesn't mean you're any less better at being a Dad.

It doesn't sound right granted, but give it 30 years time and you won't even bat an eyelid.

And yes - they both have the right to be on the birth certificate if they are legally a partnership. Very simple. If they don't it prevents the non materal parent from accepting treatment at hospital in case of emergency without the other one - lunacy.

Nothing wrong as far as I can see , the child has 2 parents rather than one parent and one guardian.

Mother and Father is the right way to bring up Children, not any other way. Having homosexual people bringing up children is wrong and not natural.
