In a pile of football shirts
Hi, I'm Pete's brother Chris. I know he said he knew a lot of fans, but it has been great reading just how many people remember him. We will be organizing the funeral, and I will endeavour to put details out so people who want to can come.
I will be letting his daughter know just what the response here has been. Thanks to everyone for making this whole period ever so slightly easier.

One thing I would ask - he did say to me he'd made plans about his scarf, but then never actually told me what those plans were. Is there anyone here who knows more details? I would love to think that his scarf keeps going to the games as a sort of 'spiritual anchor'. He also wanted to do something with all his memorabilia (presumably including the pink goalkeeping shirt). Again, if he spoke to anyone, or anyone has any ideas, please do reach out to me

regards
Chris
So sorry for your family’s loss Chris. Peter spoke to me about a couple of things, I tried to DM you but it wouldn’t let me, perhaps when you can you could message me.
❤️❤️

Such sad news. Back in the day, as Berkshire Seagull, he was one of the stalwarts on here. I had the pleasure of finally meeting Pete at one of the ‘NSC sponsored games’ at Withdean, when football, life and the world in general seemed a far more simple and carefree place. Happy days.

Rest in Peace, Berkshire Seagull.

Hi Chris,
First up, so very sorry for your loss. Please do let Pete's daughter know how well her dad was thought of amongst us 'legacy fans' He was one of the good guys. Regarding his badges, I think he mentioned leaving them to the club museum. I suggested an alternative to him, Facebook group 'The Brighton Room' a shrine to all manner of Albion memorabilia. Many on here will have visited that shrine in person and will readily vouch for it. It's wonderful! Happy to put you in touch with the organiser if you'd like, or you can contact him directly via The Brighton Room Facebook page. Best wishes at this very sad time
