I think the valuation of the takeover would far exceed (£10m - the value Dick Knight seems to be placing on the club in this sale)
Our club has a lot more than 10m shares doesn't it?

Just seems a typical DK clever marketing ploy.
He knows loads of supporters will want to buy some, therefore £1 million in the bin for share sale.
Another £1 million cos those share wanters have to purchase the book.
Result .......at least £2 mill plus upset TB and the existing board.
No wonder he wouldnt allow the club to have an advance copy.

We were obviously desperate for money during Knight's reign - hence the forty note fund, buy a player campaigns, alive and kicking thing etc - so why on earth didn't he do something like this when he was in charge to raise funds for the club?

Careful you don't want to be challenging me for the title of 'most closed minded person on NSC' as judged by Somerset.

Anyone listen to him on the radio this morning? What time was he on?

You can listen again here http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p01k84ps but don't think I can deal with 3 hours of radio sussex.

Also I notice from the Amazon ad at the top of the page that the cover of the book has changed. Did the club refuse permission for the one of him at the Amex to be used? If so that is very petty!

Good for Dick. As mentioned above, a pyrrhic victory as a parting gift.I would buy a few shares just for the kudos.

Presumably you would be responsible for some of the club's debts if you were a shareholder?

No, you may lose your investment but would not have any debt liability.

So Dick Knight has 1.54% of Brighton and Hove Albion. And he wants to sell them for about £1million. Interesting.

So if you give Dick Knight £1 you can own. Oh I can't work it out, 0.0000014% of Brighton and Hove Albion. Amazing.

I take back my comments earlier, Tony Bloom really won't give a stuff about who owns that 1.54%. Ridiculous waste of time. Purely promoting the book and his own ego.
