If you get your magnifying glass out you can see me half way up the chicken run next to the bloke with the black and white scarf----true!:albion2::albion2::albion2:

The phrase "if you get your magnifying glass out" makes me shudder. For a few reasons.

I've just been evacuated from the Vue cinema in Cwmbran. There was a fire.......missed the end of Monsters Inc in 3D.

:(

I was in the South West corner for that match.......not the wheelchairs, but by the Police horses.

Over there
Great pic Rowley what a day I was in the north stand
I remember going on holiday the next day with the family to Marbella

I was in the Northstand too that day, bloody rammed full. Me and a group of mates had a certain spot we always stood for every home game right next to a crash barrier at the top of the stand. During the arsenal game, every attack we had we were pushed against it until it felt like it was cutting off all your bodily functions. When Nelson scored, I thought I was about to be cut in 2 :)

Show some respect man, for God's sake, he was moved to a rare post by a recollection of past "glories"!

(I'd add a smiley emoticon but they won't work with my browser :-()

It was the first ever match that The Gooner fanzine was sold in and around the Goldstone ground. And after 25 years it's published 232 issues. Nice little nostalgic article on the match last night in January 1988 and a very healthy crowd of 26,467.

Perry Groves was the guest last night at arsenal hammers. He mentioned the 2-1 win and said that george graham said if they won theyd all go to marbella for five days. He then went on to say he cant remember the marbella trip as he was steaming for the whole trip!

I know that the footballers go to puerto banus nowadays, must be something about the place

Sinatra's then and now is one of THE places in the World to meet someone for a drink
