Wilkins did the switch in order to put the home bench in between the away bench and the away fans.

End of the day it really does not make any difference which dugout we are in. I think Slade Is probably just marking his teritory so to speak, I like it though he is changing things around I am sure this is not the only thing he is currently working on changing!!! :albion2:

I think it does make a huge difference. Every team which uses the current away dug-out leaves with 3 points and a huge goal tally. This could be us tomorrow!

Switching the dugouts will really just add up to f*** all.

It make the difference of the square root of f*** all Lets have a proper action plan rather than " I am going to sit somewhere different ". I am sorry for not getting too excited about this.

Good move. But Slade must make sure the switch is not made while the Moon is rising in Pisces...

I've also noticed how the opponents generally have better players, technique, tactics and organization. Maybe, if we could swop these as well as the dug outs we'd really be onto something?

If that was an abject performance, then I am Gandhi's dead sister.

Anyway, at least Slade intends using the dugouts, rather than lurking in the north stand and phoning a friend.

I think it's a good move. Most home games the linesmen run up and down the line next to the left back. This means that the lino in front of the south stand is nearly always in front of the away dugout so they get their voices heard while our lot have to shout from further away. Things like that shouldn't make a difference but they do, a la junior Fergie always on at the lino during the Peterboro game and - lo and behold - they get one or two somewaht dodgy looking decisions. Perhaps some of those iffy decisions will go OUR way for a change. Or knowing our luck every lino between now and the end of the season will line on the right back side for a change

On the terraces!!
i reckon if we do lose then he should MOVE the home dug out to the other side of the pitch. if that fails i say move it to the hammer net, then infront of the family stand. surely we are BOUND to win one of them?!?
