Maupay has really poor decision making skills.

He's not a bad player and he gives his all, but is he good enough? I'm not so sure.

Certainly not a top ten PL striker.

If we went down would another PL team want him? Maybe a newly promoted may take a punt but I doubt any aspiring, established side would.

Will be many more two points lost with our inadequate finishers.

Two points dropped.
We were all over them and they offered nothing in return.
Their keeper kept them in it but our shots /shots on target ratio raises questions.
We were the Better team but villa will feel like they gained the most out of the game.

I’m not sure if it’s actual awareness or selfishness, it seems to become more prevalent when he’s not scored for a few.

Very frustrating at times especially in the 2nd half and he’s tried the near post rather than square to an open goal.

Dare I say he needs to be dropped again as although gives a lot of effort isn’t fulfilling his primary job.

The difference between bottom 6 and middle section is winning those games. Disappointing not to score again but defensively we're absolutely rock solid. I loved seeing Trossard as a left winger in the second half. Maupay is very poor with the ball at his feet, he's a finisher and very little more than that for me. I'm disappointed in him again tonight but Martinez was spot on for Villa to be fair.

Keeper saved them, watch him have a mare next game, just like the Fulham keeper

The obvious shout is to rest Maupay but no one else is really chipping in either. Maupay's specific job is to score goals though so give someone else a run of games.

2 points dropped but we are a very good side which is comforting.

Things will improve at home as not all opposition keepers can keep being MOM , can they ?

Hmm, only 4 points this season against a team who, win their games in hand, is in the top 4?

OUT!!!

That was unforgiveable. Shitehouse. I can't believe it!

The worst fishing thread in NSC history. And by the owner? ??? Dear oh dear

Dominated possession and chances throughout.

26 shots v 4 against. 9 shots on target v 1.

We'll play much worse than that and win.

2 points dropped all day long.

Martinez post match:

"We were not in the game since the first minute and Brighton deserved to win."

Saves me typing.
