Positive result. Wonderfully sanctimonious response from Chief Jobsworth/Appeals Assessor Charles Gray....

Sounds like a job for @jackalbionGlad you got the right result, and if anyone here works with Charles Gray, could they don rubber gloves and remove the stick from his arse.
It wouldn't be my first rodeo.Sounds like a job for @jackalbion
Can I just add Stephen Lloyd was an absolute credit to his profession and one of the finest MPs in my lifetime. A brilliant man who did a sterling job for Eastbourne.Had this issue when my daughter was at school and forgot her rail ticket, a penalty fare imposed which she was unable to pay and so they wrote to me to pay.
I obviously appealed which was a farcical waste of time, so I contacted my MP at the time, Stephen LLoyd and the matter was resolved with an apology. As ridiculous as it is I would go straight to your MP, lay out facts clearly and await your apology. To note at no point did I pay the fine.
Good luck.

Same. I'd consider that if it happens again I'd want everything on file to show I'd not accepted their justifications and explanations, including a response to this letter pointing out that it was them at fault, not me.That's not good enough - I would definitely escalate further. This suggests if it happens again twice, she would be in trouble.
I would complain both about the tone and content of the above.
Indeed he was!Can I just add Stephen Lloyd was an absolute credit to his profession and one of the finest MPs in my lifetime. A brilliant man who did a sterling job for Eastbourne.
I have had a few occasions when I hosted him at our school and he is a lovely man. I vowed I'd never vote liberal after the shenanigans with Lewes and the Amex, but he made that a difficult decision purely on a local level.Indeed he was!
Stephen did more for the local community than anyone I can think of. His campaign literally saved the DGHI have had a few occasions when I hosted him at our school and he is a lovely man.
