Would love dunk to succeed and am sure gus sees something I don't but he worried me when I saw him play last year.

Dunk looks a great prospect, as does Cook, but both defo too much of a risk... we have spent literally millions on forwards and midfielders and I am certain Gus will find an experienced CB before the season starts... he is not a big fan of 4-4 or similar games...

A few of us spoke to Adam at Gatwick on Monday 18th July, and he said that he expected to be available for selection in 6 weeks, so he must be looking at early Sept.

DannySeagull saw him in Asda this morning & he told him that he's looking at mid September.
He's still in plaster at the moment though.

I remember Gus 'bigging up' Dunk early last season. Wouldn't surprise me if whole reason he hasn't signed someone is to try Dunk in games and have couple of plans on back burner when he knows how it's gone!

Cant see him risking Dunk unless he has too. I think Gus will look for real top quality.

In 18 months from now, Dunk will be the best CB at the club. This is his time to shine. I'm totally confident he'll cope fine.
