The reason why I write G-d is because there is trend which says that if you write something then it could be deleted and since we don't want that this name will be deleted then we write it this way, so if it will be deleted then it won't be the real name, and anyway, this is not the real name of him, his name is made of about 70 letters that the combination of them were written in the Urim Ve Tumim of the high priest, the high priest knew how to say these combinations in order to get answers from the Urim Ve Tumim.
