Tsk. I would love it if you hit the rocks and ended up languishing in League One or lower, but I wouldn't wish you to go out of business.

I wouldn't wish that on anyone.*

* Apart from West Ham, Leeds, Man Utd, MK Dons, Chelsea and Liverpool.

As usual,good post BOF.
Apart from the languishing in League One bit of course!

Whilst I'd agree that Jordan is seen as a figure of fun to many,I'll always remember that it was his funding that saved us from extinction, and for that reason,I don't find him to be an embarassement.
What is a worry to us is the fact that he has stated that he wants out and seems to be worth a lot less than some fans thought. There are many complications behind the scenes, the main one being ownership of the ground.
Dark days ahead indeed!

Behave!

Jordan is a BUSINESSMAN. If he "loved the club" as much as he says he does, he would not be letting it slide into the hole it is nearing. He took over the club when football was cheap. Spent a bit of money to get them in the top flight. Now its been a few years since relegation, things are getting costly, Jordan running out of patience (and money). He jumps ship. The guy was never really interested in the success of the club, only what he could line his pockets with, if you think anything else, then you have clearly been brainwashed.

An honest opinion. You're in decline unless you can find a new sugar daddy.

Jordan has clearly fallen out of love with the game and fed up running the club. His finances are struggling too by all accounts. The Bostock affair hurt him very badly (quite rightly too. It was a shocking decision.)

Your ground, which I believe you don't own anymore, is in urgent need of repair too. The players, I guess are getting disenchanted too. Payments have been made late by the club and they must be wondering if cheques are going to bounce.

On the plus side, you have a fantastic manager and one of the best youth team set ups in the country. You're going to need them because I can't see you attracting big name players in the immediate future (transfer embargos not withstanding).

I reckon you will be bottom 3rd this season and maybe relegation candidates the following year unless your finances improve.

Dark days as someone said.

i had the pleasure of a visit to smellhurst on saturday and as much as i enjoyed the humiliation you endured i must say palace didn't look like relegation candidates. Short term i think you will be ok this season but its gonna be a scrap, i'll go for a 17th place finish with relegation looking possible at some point towards the later stage of the season.
Long term things dont look great for you guys, there appeared to be a lot of negativity amongst the fans even before kick off and off field factors are bound to take their toll soon. I really cant see the financial turmoil at palace being resolved any time soon so i'm afraid to say admin and subsequent relegation seems highly likely in the not so distant future.

Sorry but you're wrong!
When he took over,he was brimming with enthusiasm. He breathed life into a dying club. The enthusiasm started to wane with the Bostock saga.
You either forgot or didn't know that he has pumped millions into our youth academy, one which is envied by some clubs in a higher poition and league than us.I do agree though that he has now realised that owning a club is much more costly than he first thought.

Best of luck though, even coming from someone who has been down trodden by gloating palace fans all my bloody life

Mid table. They'll win enough games to be safe quite comfortably. Shame.

more wooryingly for them is that they don't own Smellhurst.

What is the club worth that Jordan wans to sell?

No ground and not an waful lot of saleable assets.

Aspire to that one day once you grow out of short trousers!

Weren't you banned for continually posting crap? Hardly puts you in a position of strength to criticise others does it?
