The problem on Saturday and especially towards the end, for some reason we were playing like we have a 6ft3 striker. Every ball into the box was head height or above and for the Brummy defence it was a piece of piss to clear when the tallest person in the box for us was Dobbie (and the only person).

I'm not saying we NEED a big target man but for situations like Saturday it definitely would have been handy. OR we stick to our regular game with playing the ball to feet might have helped...countless similar games last season. Hopefully we can set it right against Ipswich.

Spot on. People who are saying Gus refuses to plat that way can`t have been watching on Saturday. When we are finding it impossible to craft something through the middle, surely a real target man would be a better option than the imaginary one we were tryng to hit with high crosses for the last half hour.

What was needed on Saturday was some more guile to unlock a very stubborn defence. Cried out for Vicente...
