As long as El Abd leaves, I really don't care.
Forster, Kuipers and El-Abd to be offered new deals (not saying that they'll all accept)
Hart, McLeod, Hawkins and Livermore to be told where to go.
Cox and Virgo have between now and the end of the season to prove themselves worthy of a deal (unless they get shipped out in the january window of course).

Didn't know about Ian Wright, but some nob of a director wouldn't let Billy Lane buy Denis Law for a song because he (Law) was too small.I forgot about that... didnt some genius at the albion also turn dwn Ian Wright because he was too small as well.. he then took palace to he to flight, a cup final and is now an arsenal legend.![]()
Why is everyone raving about Adam el abd?! He isn't very good, we all know that. We want to be promoted next season so we need players capable of that. El Abd is not capable.
I can't believe people are slagging El Abd on here still - last seaon his back passes cost us badly (as they never got to the keeper) early this season it was possibly justified, he has improved enormously since and certainly has impressed the new management team
I dont think anyone is slagging him off, but we want promotion and wold l-Abd get in the leeds, norwich o charlton squad? if not then ai commnt to let him go and replace him
Decent point - I don't think he would get in the Leeds team - not sure many of our existing squad would, can't see any of our forwards displacing Beckford for example, so when you put it like that anyone is a possible change.
absolutely, we cant sign everone and that is why the club pays managers, coahes and talent scouts. We had first dibs on Roy Keane and Ian Wright, instead they signed up Geoff Cooper and John Crumplin. There we go, but how things might have been different![]()
Cooper and Crumplin were not even at the same time or same manager. How many times do you need telling Keane didnt want to be here and returned home within 24 hours nothing the club could do about it..
was it 8 years ago, bloody hell

They might not have signed at the same time but they were both signed by Barry Lloyd and they were both in the same match day squad together under Lloyd.
