Last...Unfortunate that the horse drawn next to him was pissing about in the stalls when you needed to lead. He'll be better handicapped next time, although I suspect that weight isn't the main issue.

To be fair to the OP he did say, if it don't lead it stands no chance. So from a certain point of view he was spot on!!!!!
:)

Worth keeping a note of though, the yard must think it has a race in him given the tumbling odds. Perhaps we should have been laying the horse when it blew the start!

Most tips are bollocks. Ignore terms like, "ready to run or ready to win", most horses are like that in a race.

What you are looking for in a tip is a horse thats been of the track a while, has trained on/changed owner or some detailed reason and goes fresh.

That means its ahead of its handicapping rating. Ready to run well means its ready to run to its official rating, most in a race are like that or out of form.

Bit surprised that the jockey was late pulling off the hood when the horse needed to lead. :nono:

Shit jockey, always has been always will be. The best aw jockey in the race one it. Always liked kingscoat, always try's hard. Did not see the race but I should expect spencer was posing and actually had the best horse. Just guessing from 15+ years of watching racing.
