Very defensive aren't you. No one has mentioned a target man, no one has mentioned Wayne Rooney. The season is nearly upon us and we haven't strengthened the squad in any way. Yet again we've signed a youngster and have a few trialists who will dissappear soon, never to be heard of again. There are clubs with less resources than us that seem to do ok in the transfer market, all the excuses that you reeled off just don't add up. If the club is that skint that we really can't afford anyone then just tell us, we will understand, but don't try and get everyones hopes up with bullshit stories that we 'nearly' signed a big name. I was defending MM and got called passionless for my efforts.

None of us know whats going on behind the scenes, we should all appreciate that signing a proven goalscorer is always a challenge, and flying off the handle bitching about it as per the initial post in this thread, is counter productive.

The fact is DK has stuck with MM because of his past record in getting promotion from this division, so I really dont see the point in getting worked up about it, and giving all these "we're gonna go down" messages weeks before the season even starts.

Now, if after say 15 matches, last season's trend continues, I'll be the first to want MM's head, until then, SUPPORT THE f***ing MANAGER

although if he really is a manager who plays attractive football then perhaps this is one of the things we did wrong as last year we clearly never set out to do this
