My point, which you chose to ignore, is just because we haven't signed Wayne f***ing Rooney, doesnt mean that MM and the team arent working as hard as they possibly can to get someone in.

As for being passionless, what utter bollocks. I am as passionate as the next man, probably more than most, I just happen to believe that bemoaning the lack of signing a target man is utterly pointless and defeatist.

What the club wont do is bring someone in for the sake of it.

Well, the money that we are paying is compatable with 80% or so of the other teams our size in the division, and a lot more than the smaller clubs.

OK, the facilities are not the best, but there are a good few clubs at this level who still train in dog shit and needle infested public parks.

When are we going to realise that we ARE in the top 6 clubs on paper of this division and should not loose sight of that

Very defensive aren't you. No one has mentioned a target man, no one has mentioned Wayne Rooney. The season is nearly upon us and we haven't strengthened the squad in any way. Yet again we've signed a youngster and have a few trialists who will dissappear soon, never to be heard of again. There are clubs with less resources than us that seem to do ok in the transfer market, all the excuses that you reeled off just don't add up. If the club is that skint that we really can't afford anyone then just tell us, we will understand, but don't try and get everyones hopes up with bullshit stories that we 'nearly' signed a big name. If all that isn't cause for concern I don't know what is. Personally I'm preparing myself for another relegation battle, I just hope I'm wrong.
