Yes it won’t but enough. But we’re lucky that Liverpool and Spurs have nothing to play for and that players of the latter will be worried about not getting injured for the Jammy Crapico aka this year‘s Europa League final while Brentford have a west London derby and Wolves away isn’t easy.

Given the huge churn of players, the new relatively inexperienced manager and the ridiculously high number of injuries, to still be in the hunt for Europe with two games to go is a marvellous effort.

This time next week, we’ll know if the smeggy sons of Selhurst have pissed on our chips. If so, I’ll be £200 up and getting royally wankered over Eurovision in a futile attempt to numb the pain.

The other poster said Palace were 2/1 to win the cup. Who is the third horse in a cup final, the ref?
There are 3 possible results (at 90 minutes).

Unless the bet the poster you are referring to is referring to odds at just "lifting the cup", which takes into account ET and pens.

If Palace did win the cup I think I would rather finish 9th than 8th. We would never live it down.
We don't play again until after the Cup final. If, God forbid, that lot win the FA Cup, they'll take nothing off us. Our season will be over and our players will start unpacking their flip flops for the remaining two fixtures. Finishing 9th is a good season!

Brentford will get a point against Fulham now and see off Wolves. I’m getting agitated now. I dislike Brentford because their boss pissed our Tony off. So I think we have to win both to have a chance
Think that’s right. Brentford’s revival may cook our goose even before that Wembley shitfest on Saturday.

That disgrace of a performance at Brentford is unfortunately looming large

I assume lift the cup means them actually winning the game rather than the 90 mins result given the context of their post.

B365, 90 minutes:

Palace are 7/2
Draw is 7/2
City are 8/13

To lift the cup:
Palace 11/5
City 4/11

So yes, to lift the cup they are a little over 2/1. I didn't see their post though. And I don't really care about the odds, as long as Palace get absolutely HUMPED. I would love to see another Watford.

Them getting humped and us taking 8th?

Carlsberg don’t do ends to football seasons but if they did….

The closer we get to the end of the season the more annoyed I get about those two bizarre collapses against wolves and Leics earlier in the season. Four points right there!
You mustn’t think like that. We’ve pinched a few. I know exactly what you mean though.
