Tidy start. They've done the right thing in playing themselves in. They now have to find a way to start scoring runs. The worst thing that could happen at the moment is letting Lyon pen them in, they need to play a few shots against him to push the field back.

I'm finding it really hard to figure out the tactics for this game and the last.
It seems to be, throw the bat at everything.
They are not getting settled at all, just playing 20/20 shots.
It looks like they are deliberately trying to lose, like a fixed match.
They need reminding that it is a 5 day game, this is utter b*****ks.
Root tries a big shot on 15, 15, that is no score and as for Pietersen, well, so predictable and set up , he's a f*****g tosser any way.
Will never liked the bloke after what I saw in my first Ashes game here after his comments in interviews, he should be replaced by a team player.
This is turning into an embarrassment.
