I understand Suttner is off to Dusseldorf. It's a shame, I don't think we've seen what he capable of. Bong is an incredible survivor though, he ups his game on every challenge he as face at Brighton.

No Surprises there. Next out I would imagine will be Connolly on loan and Hemed out permanent deal..Certainly getting to stage of clearing the decks in places..

I'm not totally convinced we'd want to have 9 defenders in the 25. It wouldn't surprise me to see Balogun move on and he doesn't come across as someone who is happy to not be playing.

Ahannach is a mystery to me. Too old for development squad, not good enough for the 25. I know he had a bad injury but I would have expected him to be shipped out on loan somewhere by now.

I suspect now that Crofts will be playing for the U23s, Ahannach will get even less games.

After training at Amex on Monday lucky enough to speak to both. Schellotto said 20 days until he is ready to start training. Jose was uncertain of time scale.

Maybe so, he seemed enthused. Think it might work with a potter style of three at the back, though Montoya is likely first pick for the wide berth, he is after all a quick attacking type so might just fit in. We will just have to wait and see.

I feel there'll also be another midfield addition. Otherwise our only tweak to the midfield is swapping out knockhaert for trossard, which considering how little we created & controlled games last season would be foolish.

Im hoping its going to be;

Clarke out on loan
Keep Dunk
New right back
Sell/Loan Schelotto
Webster signed
New centre mid
Maupay or En-Nesyri signed
Sell/loan Hemed

Would have to be a busy last week for all that but we can wish!

I really cannot see both Schelloto an Izquierdo being in the 25 for the first half of the season due to their injuries. But I don't see at present who we could put in their places

Izzy certainly won't be. Schelotto maybe not.

To be honest with the european transfer deadlines being at the start of September, I wouldn't be surprised if El Galgo will get a last minute loan out.
