I thought this years opening ceremony was the biggest load of artsy contrived bollocks I've ever seen!
It's all been done before the dancers in the oh so funky and zany costumes. People zipping in and around the stadium on wires. Parts of the show only a diehard Melbournite would understand.
Boring beyond the extreme I'm afraid, surely someone could have come up with something more original?

I watched the opening ceremony this morning, I thought it was brillant. Espically when the fireworks went off on the top of those sky scrapers. Marvellous scenes.
