1) John Rudge
2) Brian Law
3) Charlie Oatway with an experienced director of football to help
4) Ray Gradon

to name but a few

........ Don't agree any of them are suitable alternatives to McGhee and the inclusion of Charlie Oatway......Charlie is quality captain but manager/tactician....perhaps not!!

Which goals do you blame Kuipers for in his last 2 games?...
Well he didn't play at Southampton and I admit that the second Millwall goal looked soft.
But Chingeau looks crap!

That's what I like to hear... positive, constructive posts like this... let's hope you are as wrong about this as you are about MM... I would you prefer us to get relegated to prove your point... tw@t...

Number 3 is especially funny... why would the others be better than MM exactly?...

Chalie is one of the most positive characters in the dressing room and a great motivator and man manager, he can get help with the tactics and anyway he can't be any worse than McGhee at tatics

Why later?... may I suggest that you can't come up with 10 good reasons (see your first post), let alone 50...

Oh, stop it, my sides are hurting now.

Actually, I've just realised. This thread is a wind-up and I am guilty of having bitten. Doh! :dunce:

And any one of those would do better than McGhee because....?

YOU might like the idea gambling the Albions future with a couple of unproven lower division managers, an old fossil who did pretty much f*** all at Vale for 16 years, and someone on the current PLAYING staff (for christs sake). Me, I think I'll stick with the guy who so far has got us promoted and kept us in this division.

Thanks anyway though.

Rudge got a club smaller than ours in to what is the current championship and made many premier division players like robbie earl!

I agree Flo is crap... and I also want Henderson, but I am not yet convinced the latter is a better keeper than the FDM... certainly has better distribution, but tends to push the ball out to advancing strikers, e.g. at Sheff Wed away... none of this suggests MM should be sacked BTW...

Yep Charlie is a good motivator can't argue there but think there is a little bit more to being a football club manager than simply making players have happy thoughts......I may be wrong in which case bring in Derren Brown to hypnoptise our current squad into believing we are as good as Chelsea

How long ago ? Robbie Earl is RETIRED now FFS !!

And I think you'll find the Vale fans were WELL pleased to get shot of him by the end.

Its all about opinions, I home
I'm wrong about McGhee, but I doubt it, he nearly let his ego get in the way of selcetion last year which costs us points, we had 44 points with 11 games to go and ended up on 51 with a seven game loosing streat thrown in.
