Have it on good authority he will be departing.

Shame, seemed like a 'fun' player that could have been very popular. Not that he needs more fans looking at his South African following!

Perhaps his departure opens the door to an incoming. Delay in announcing it could well mean there is something in the works, but no info on that sadly. Personally think Connolly could have an exciting season, 7 + goals from him would be great to see.

Best of luck to the Lion of Judah!

Hopefully the clubs social media channels will revert back to normal when his fans leave the pages.

Shame. I always hoped he'd do well.

Yeah, me too.

Seems odd that Potter recalled him from his loan and then never really played him. Doubt we'll ever get to know the thinking behind that move but if we had reached shirt sale saturation with his SA fans his job here was done.

Wish him all the best wherever he ends up.

I expect he wasn’t as good as we hoped him might be when we got him in training with PL players.

Bought a good player, made him better, gave him Prem time although he was never going to be a Prem player, sell for a massive profit. Good business.

Was Percy just wasting his and everyone else's time yesterday then, in recording media duties ahead of the new season?

Bye bye Perce.

I wouldn't read too much in the delay if l were you! Sadly l don't seem to rate young Aaron as highly as you, would love to think you are right though.

Nice to see Tariq using one leg in that clip , one more to go and we have one of the most exciting wing backs / winger / in the league to watch again .

Player was never given a proper chance here. Major failings by the club. They need to have a serious word with themselves, else they're doomed to do the exact same thing all over again. And again...

Percy has been a success overall, bought cheaply and has earn't us a couple of decent loan fees plus raised our profile in SA not quite PL standard from the cameo's I've seen but if we get a good sale price overall he's been a success albeit a qualified one. Next signing punt up might be the 'one'?

Makes you wonder why on earth we wasted all that time loaning him out to play in Belgium for a couple of seasons whilst we waited for his work permit to come through, if we were only going to move him on without really giving him any match time.

Oh well, l suppose we have a few thousand new followers on the African sub-Continent now anyway.
