He's currently live on "The Football Show" on SSN until noon.

I personally would have gone with:-

He's currently '(a)live' on The Football Show on SSN until noon.

Paul Dickov, we could do with a young him on loan again.

Is Webster mended yet ? or still got Lallana-itis ?

Websters been more injured than Lallana in the last 2 seasons, so other way round I guess

Some Albion fan: "All this passing around at the back is boring! Get it forward!"
Webster: *tries difficult pass to open the attack but fails 1 out of 20 times*
Same Albion fan who thought alibi passing was boring: "Missed a pass tonight again! Bring back Shane Duffy!"

Webster is one of the players in Europe that does the most amount of progressive passing and ball carrying and in all likelihood the only one who has to do it as often with his weaker foot as with his stronger. If you think "fannying around at the back" is boring now... watch it without Webster. Neither Dunk or Veltman are even near his ability to succeed with difficult, progressive passes.

Exactly. Webster has been under rated by Brighton fans since he joined us though. It’s not just Brighton though, it’s an English football fan thing.

I was one of those who thought an England call up was likely back in 2021.

Feels like he’s regressed since RDZ took over. Or is it that the quality of our other players has improved?

He's obviously a very popular guy and important around the squad but he's gone from looking exceptional with the occasional cock up to just not up to it. Such a shame.

He looked fine first half playing in a three with all the possession but totally panicked after the red. Before de Zerbi he used to carry the ball a long way forward ( albeit sometimes getting dispossessed because he plays it too far in front) but under de Zerbi the focus is so much more on quick, precise passing between the lines and he doesn't seem comfortable doing it, misses too many passes.

Was exceptionally poor after the red, almost like playing with 9 men.

Having said that he always looked poor coming back into the team and needs a run of games to get back to his best.
