Thats a shame. Obviously Gus thinks he can get someone better in for the ludicrous amount they are offering for an unproven champ striker... I would have been more worried if Southampton or Millwall had signed him because I think he'd get much better service than in a relegation threatened team...

I think he means Murray would be more useful to Southampton than to Palace because he'll get much better service... Their aerial threat would be ridiculously good if they got Murray

Great post, we need players who are committed. And I think some people are rating Murray very highly considering he's not been tested at championship level yet

I would be worried if we had nearly any other manager, but not with Gus.

I wouldn't say entirely opposite in personality, when things weren't going his way when he joined us he was lazy and sulky.

I honestly think he'll do a leon knight if he moves there. His personality will piss the fans off and he'll be playing for Northampton before he knows it!

This. He hasn't been proven at championship level yet and I reckon he might struggle with the pace- although his game is obviously more winning flick ons etc

Gus knows what he is doing, they are probably offering him silly money which will no doubt put them in administration again :)
