[Albion] More train misery (WHU & Newcastle (home games))

Yes. We know already. There are trains to Falmer before and after the game. The last train back to Worthing from Brighton though leaves before the game has even started.

I thought that but Google reckons 1 hour 6 minutes walking Stadium to St Peters Church. And Google doesn't know the route is a pub crawl as well. :drink:

Yikes. That's network shutdown on the 1st. I'd hired a car to be returned on the 1st. Will extend the hire by a day.

Southern is part of Govia Thameslink and will see industrial action. The online rail planners are already updated with the timetable - and it is an early finish for Southern services ( although the last Falmer - Brighton service is 22:43. Just don't expect an onward connection - last...

The online rail planners update on Friday for the day of the West Ham game. The 5:30 kick off doesn't help and I suspect the service will wind up earlier than usual that evening. I reckon a trek/pub crawl back into Brighton after the game is on the cards. Broken Britain.

I think it is RMT so unlike ASLEF strikes there will be some trains, but possibly the service might wind up early for the evening.

Oh well. West Ham is a 5:30 kickoff ( as is Newcastle ). No chance of getting home for me if the trains are iffy. Hotel booked.
