But equally important not to over-estimate it, surely. If anything, with the exception of some high profile derby matches (for good reason), the trend seems to be in the other direction. Policing at the Amex, for example, is normally extremely low profile, home and away fans allowed/encouraged...
100% this. Those moaning about infringement of liberty etc, have probably never experienced a country or a situation where real liberties have been infringed. There's nothing unduly "draconian" about any of this really.
I'm pretty much in agreement with your main point here. I'm also a leftie, however, so I don't quite see the connection you're making here. Objection to identity cards etc is as much associated with right wing libertarian types as it is with lefties.

Not if they were also STH last year, and Withdean STH before that. I guess that the club must have done the sums on the numbers with those loyalty points, before setting these thresholds.
The question is whether, especially with Bolton (which is not going to be a cheap trip, particularly if you...
I assume, as they don't mention what happens if there are tickets available after the 1,150 pointers have had their chance, that the club believes that all will sell out to people with 1,150+. Is that likely, even for Friday evening in Bolton?
