He going to start failing the dipstick test which may bring his value down. Shame because he’s still young enough to learn a lot under DZ and that could put him at the top in his quest for international honours.
Bob won’t go before the season ends so will still have a chance of game time and impress any suitors. The money being talked about for him is all very well but a PL ready replacement won‘t be cheap.
International class maybe (how many caps?). World class? - nah. He might get there one day if he can straighten his head but he’s way short at the moment.
I think the comparison to Ryan does Steele a disservice. He’s had stiff competition for the number 1 shirt and done well enough to keep it. I feel more comfortable with him on crosses And he is evidently better playing Zerbiball. Sanchez still has a lot to learn.
Personally I think Sanchez had become. complacent - he always gives an air of casualness which isn’t a good look when he’s off form. He’s a good goalie but could catch the ball more and improve his distribution. As said, hopefully a kick up the arse will improve his form and decision making...
