Luckily our board either Tony or Paul have stated that they wouldn't sign a convicted sex offender when the question was put to them at a forum. I can't give a source but I remember reading it on here from a transcript thread.
Interesting breakdown on the legal issues surrounding Evans and any possible future employment. Including the fact that he will be on the sex offenders register for 15 years.

The FA shouldn't be seen to support a rapist or indeed any criminal convicted of a serious offence.
There should be a moral code drawn up by the FA and if convicted of heinous crimes you should be barred for life. Simple.
Would stop scummy clubs trying to wrap up a cheap deal.
It's quite simple.
If he can legally clear his conviction then there should be no restrictions on his employment in any career path he chooses.
If he cannot overturn his conviction then he must remain constricted on his offers of employment. He doesn't have to be a footballer. Its not a...
SKY News:
One of Sheff Utd's shirt sponsors says it will end it's deal if Ched Evans is re-employed by the club.
Plus two more club patrons have resigned from their roles.
Yes, you are correct. I was mistaken in using the word 'unconscious'.
In case anyone hasn't seen it this legal document gives a summary and full transcript of his unsuccessful appeal.

With reference to his right to pursue a living in his trade.
I know it's hypothetical, but take the same situation and put a 15yo girl in that room . Immediately that person that commits the crime is a paedophile. The girl looked of age is his defence. She was unconscious. I can't believe...
Interesting discussion on Radio 5 this morning during Politics Hour where his prison pastor questioned that if he was 'allowed' back into football would he mentally be able to handle the abuse that no doubt would come his way. The pastor thought not.
Ironically the FA are calling for life bans...
Absolutely.
Evans had no need to be at that hotel that night. The only reason he turned up was to have sex with the victim to whom he was alerted to by a text from his dodgy mate.
I can't see anyway he is going to clear his convicted rapist tag.
The room was booked by Evans in advance for McDonald because a party was/had been going on at Evans parents house and there was not enough room for McDonald to sleepover. Evans gained access to the room by lying to the security guard that he had lost his keycard. Evans left by a fire exit.
Just finished listening to Nicky Campbell on Radio 5 and a lawyer on there commented that it was a unanimous verdict. The overall verdict of the callers was that he should be given a second chance when he shows remorse/apologises. Unlikely as he still thinks he is not guilty.
Update: His family have said his fight for justice has made him a role model. http://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/ched-evanss-family-describe-him-as-a-role-model/ar-BB9pqvY
Richard Caborn (Sheff Utd fan) ex sports minister and ex MP of a Sheffield constituency has suggested that he apologises...
You would like to think that any club thinking of taking him back on a contract would be petitioned by their own supporters to not do that in respect for victims of sexual crimes.
No, he should not be banished from society under the present law. As said, restricted employment opportunities akin to child sex offenders.
But, he shouldn't really be allowed in society at all. The law/punishment is a joke for sexual crimes.
