If it's any consolation I actually have some sympathy with your view BUT I thought the threat of court action somewhat hysterical. It is THAT I've challenged you on not your viewpoint.
You missed out that Scrooge McScrooge wants to take the club to court if they do bring in a travel supplement. I'm still interested on what grounds this case would get to court but apparently I'm not allowed to know !
FFS - you can't take the club to court for adding £30 ( or whatever amount ) to a season ticket for travel just because your employer provides you travel ! Good grief - how do you get on in life ?
You seem to have forgotten that this binfest started because you said you would sue the club if this sort of thing came in. YOU have yet to state exactly what grounds you would sue the club on ? I would suggest you are the one that's missed the point and indeed has little grasp of small claims...
No it's not a price issue. If your child's seat wasn't sold at a discount it could be sold to an adult. Who covers that price difference ? EVERYBODY else.
Could I ask that you just send me the £80 instead then rather than you waste it on court fees considering the club won't even have to put up a case and it won't achieve anything ?
Agreed to a certain extent but you would still have no case to take to court. The club won't have broken a contract nor any civil law so the case would be thrown out without the club having to say anything.
OK then - what if you don't use the toilet while you're at the Amex ? You've paid towards the operating cost of the stadium in your ticket but you're not entitled to a refund if you don't use certain facilities.
But what would you be suing for ? The club would offer a ST @ a certain price which includes a markup to cover public transport costs - it's up to you whether you take that offer up or not. You might as well sue Kwik Fit for charging a disposal fee for an old tyre even though you take it away...
Given it would cost you over £80 in fees and the club could counter claim for reasonable costs ( admittedly not solicitor costs ) I can't see what you would hope to achieve when the costs to you would be more than fours seasons of the suggested price rise.
Completely agree but those in Coldean who don't want permit parking should be bombarding both the Argus and Councillor Leapper with their views and making them LOUD. Residents around the Goldstone survived, as did those around Withdean - Coldean needs to stand up and be counted and crush the few...
