Brilliant saves, occasional ricks and not brilliant with his feet. You don't get much for £25M these days
(Other than a starting 11 for the Albion fairly frequently)
Three players Chelsea should sign to REPLACE Sanchez as number one
Sanchez, 24, was demoted to third-choice at Brighton this summer after Roberto De Zerbi dropped the Spaniard in favour of Jason Steele last season, before the Seagulls added Bart Verbruggen from Anderlecht in July.
However...
Roberto De Zerbi says Robert Sanchez is not currently part of Brighton’s first-team plans because the goalkeeper “wanted it this way”. “He decides everything. Robert decides and at the moment it’s like this. He wanted it this way, not me, not the club.” - Too Long For a Headline
Probably why...

The actual De Zerbi quote on Steele getting the position “At this moment, he (Steele) is closer to my idea, my style. Robert is improving, but Jason deserves to play. When I speak of my style, I’m speaking about the foot.”
And after Sanchez asked not to be on the bench at Arsenal, De Zerbi...
I thought he showed great potential and could still be a top class keeper. Not as good as some with his feet and prone to the occasional lapse/error but still only young with time to learn.
After being at the Albion for nearly 10 years, he chose to make himself unavailable for selection during...
And an Andy Naylor quote about Sanchez within that story
With opponents to combat his style in different ways, De Zerbi’s goalkeeper cannot afford to be a one-trick pony.
Ooohh :catfight:
Well let's hope so, or toys could still be incoming in Brighton all the way from West London :lolol:
Just glad we don't have that bloody monstrosity of car doing impressions of a box of fireworks round here anymore
True Story - Bass player decides to teach his daughter to play.

Thursday - why didn't you turn up for your lesson yesterday ?
Sorry Dad, I had a gig
I can't help but wonder whether he'll look back at that Premier 6th place celebrations, which he was a major part of, and deserved to be at and think WTF
I'm sure he won't at the moment, but there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of 'noise' in the transfer window and give it 2 or 3...
I think I should point out that my comments on his football ability were tongue in cheek (hence the wink). He is certainly a very good, young athletic keeper and if he had got his head down when dropped and concentrated on his weaknesses, I believe he could have turned the situation around quite...
Maybe his barber was also at an nearby table when Sanchez was telling his mate, in rather less than a whisper, that he was on his way to Chelsea
