When he started the other week he was pretty poor, and he's had some rubbish sub appearances as well as good ones. So I can understand why Gus isn't starting him. He doesn't really look like he fits into our way of playing at times. Same goes for Sparrow actually.

Noone's not gonna help if we can't string two passes together, and Wood sounds like he played last week so both subs make sense.

nah, well not unless he was last week too. He seems to play a lot better in the three up front.

The obvious thing to do would be two defenders, two midfield, two attack. With three midfielders on the bench I think you can do without one on the bench. Hopefully it won't matter anyway.

Tommy Elphick isn't going to be happy. Bit surprised to see both Kish and Sparrow keep their places but Oldham were very physical in the middle in the reverse fixture so I guess Gus is trying to counter that.
