My managerial record is better than Lampard’s.
GP’s record seems to be;
Take a pub team with millions spent on it and get it up to a Micky Mouse league top division
Take a Championship (part Premier League) squad and fail to make the playoffs
Take a weak unestablished Premier League squad...
We will probably never know if he’s a top manager. He certainly didn’t prove it at Chelsea. Proved he was a top failure there.
Most really top managers would have turned that around.
GP proved he was about as good as Frank Lampard.
Cant see him ever getting a really top job.
This - following Potter was a huge mistake - he will always regret it.
Bruno would currently be in Andrew Crofts role at the club.
Obviously he will also be a lot richer, but must be sad at the situation he now finds himself in.
I know you have Icy and I know you hated Hughton. Can’t really work out why.
And I know that the last four months were wretched
But a lot of watching Potters teams was wretched too.
And he’s never ever won anything - nothing - he’s just helped to consign a billion pound team to finish lower than...

Stevens and Propper were not exactly MacAllister and Caicedo
And Jahanbaksh not exactly Mitoma
People cant just come out with the "dour but practical" crap about Hughton generally, it was wonderful watching the team for...
Lewis Dunk is a better player , and Solly March has improved dramatically.
Mitoma wasn't in the team under Potter at the start of the season.
And Evan Ferguson not even in the squad.
We were sometimes absolute rubbish under Potter, dreadful to watch, sometimes good.
Potter was bound to fail...
Can I just say that I never liked the guy.
Always came across as a bit supercilious - a bit meh - a bit smug.
In terms of the contribution and impact on this club of getting us into Europe, here’s my take on it - just my opinion like.
Poyet. 0.5% - To second tier from third tier
Then mouth...
Amazing really.
Chris Hughton saved us from relegation to League 1, and then got us promoted after narrowly missing out the previous season. Kept us up twice with a pretty crap squad.
And then was sacked.
Potter moved a much improved squad further up the table and then walked out for a big...
