Can't agree with this, simply because I think he's been doing some of his best work over the last few years.
The Slip was great, Ghosts is lovely background music, and the soundtracks (especially Social Network) are brilliant.
It's interesting - quite a few have noted that there's something inexplicably reminiscent of the early albums about this one. Really good level of songwriting I think, the band is incredibly tight live now too.
That doesn't answer my question. Do they still sound like a bored Foo Fighters? All double tracked vocals and very, very bland choruses? Puzzle started to lean that way then the album after that was absolutely shitawful.
