NMH no longer posts but it’s worth noting that contrary to everything he says GM has achieved the unique status of being an Albion and Palace hero, who’d have thunk it back then.
Got a question for you Red'n'Blue, does Glenn have a lack of pace at this level? That, apart from his penalty misses, was about the only thing I thought would hold him back at this level in our charge through League One.
Was that around the time of some ridiculous idea floated to merge the Albion and Palace and play half way between the two. That was never gonna happen however much money anyone threw at it.
Guy Butters knew all about the rivalry, Anyone remember his "f*** your rivalry with Palace" post when a bunch of NSC moaners were suggesting our defence was shit? :lolol:
You'd have to be one thick git not to know about it as a Brighton player. I'd suggest Murray doesn't give a f*** rather than...
See ya Glenn, if there was ever a doubt that the Palace games would be the biggest games this season, this transfer will ensure they are.
I really do hope Gus knows what he's doing and that the finances for next season are such that we chose to let him go rather than we couldn't afford to keep him.
f*** me I think that there are more spelling mistakes in the post above than one post has managed since NSC started. Well done that Palace lad
Looked very happy for quite a lot of this season to me. Anyway we don't employ players to be happy we employ them to be good and on that front he was top notch.
Maybe, just maybe Gus has someone else in mind and does not feel Glenn is as good as the offer Palace are making him. Time will tell, but Poyet really doesn't appear to give a flying f*** imo, which is either a worry or a good thing. I'm not sure which at the moment.
