There are plenty of players over 30 who get themselves sent off!

He was hardly seen on the training ground for the last few months of his tenure, which is neither professional nor wielding a big stick.

Fair comment, I understand where you are coming from although don't necessarily agree with it as not convinced by the youth players, but respect your opinion. Can we now revert to NAME CALLING though

Perhaps if things were better internally at the club over the last few months of Wendy's reign this wouldn't have happened?

I've seen comments from OGH at most twice, to me that is not 'constantly', and I think most intelligent people would reach the same conclusion.

Out of interest, how do you define 'constantly'?

If there is one thing worse than an NSC BINFEST it's a LOVE IN

That applies to all clubs outside of the Prem (and to be fair, quite a few who are in it too) though. There is no rational reason to support the Albion, we all do it out of a love we cannot explain.

I agree with what you say, and look forward to McLeod and Cox getting lots of assists this season. Having said that, if our backs are against the wall against a decent side and we there are 20 minutes remaining, I would much rather have OGH come on and use his experience to shore things up than...

I think the consensus about Ian Chapman not getting a testimonial was that he got a very raw deal. I suspect that part of the problem was that the Albion's financial position at the time was on a knife edge, and they took the money themselves, from analysing their accounts at the time.

Fair enough, I personally think that central midfield alongside Thompson, and left back are the areas we should be prioritising, and hope that MA is going to spring a surprise on us for those gaps. However, the relatively poor wages on offer will have an impact on the quality of players who...

Fair enough, but when you criticise others for their inability to explain things and use of English, then surely people it is a case of the pot calling the kettle black.

Hardly slagging Wendy off surely? I think a lot of people were surprised by Wendy being relieved of the manager's role, but if those people were aware of how little he had been at the training ground for the last three months of the season and the reasons behind that absence then it would be...

True, but in the abscence of Currie is Cox going to play on the left again this season? Jake is not a winger, and finding his best position will be a challenge for MA. The new boy McLeod seems to have made a positive impression and I am looking forward to seeing him, but who knows if he is the...

That is a fair comment. Perhaps MA thinks that OGH's utility skills as a striker/RM and RFB are higher up the pecking order than some of us. Out of interest, who do people think is going to be our first choice reserve striker? MA has mentioned Adam Virgo, but he has not played up front for...

I agree that the name calling is unnecessary, but some of your comments, such as "The bottom line is, nobody wants him here anymore." and "He won't play, 'cause he aint good enough. END OFF." are inflammatory (as well as being grammatically poor) and provocative. I don't think anyone is...

I think he means that OGH felt he wasn't getting a fair crack of the whip under Wendy, and therefore would have moved on even if offered a contract. With MA in charge the sheet is wiped clean, and he feels he will be picked or not picked on merit. As said before, he is unlikely to be offered...

Where exactly has OGH slagged Wendy off?

The nature of the dressing room is that in general what happens in the club stays in the club until someone leaves. I can only go from what I have heard from one of the players at the club who has played under a large number of managers during his career, and whose opinion I have found to be...
