Oh dear, you really are in a sorry state. Why don't you find some quotes from me saying we were never in a transfer saga? Or where I called you an idiot? Have you made a single constructive comment on this thread about Garvan? You didn't even make one about Speroni after being drawn into that...
Again, I never called you names, I simply suggested a reason for you continually posting shit. I also never denied we were involved in the transfer saga. I am sure all these fellow Brighton fans of yours on here are really proud of how terribly boring you are.
Do explain to me the purpose of this post other than an attempt to try and look big and clever by returning with a sarcastic comment to a Palace fan, a comment which as I said serves no purpose as what I had said was true.
And we were. If Newcastle had persuaded Carroll to stay, would Torres be...
Yes, you are right, purely because Speroni decided to stay Schwarzer suddenly wanted to stay.
The fact is Schwarzer wanted to leave, and Fulham were looking at alternatives, but when Speroni agreed to stay and any Given deal looked unlikely (Speroni was their first choice by the way), Fulham...
Fulham wanted Speroni to replace Schwarzer who was off to Arsenal, and I think they enquired, but then Speroni signed a new deal in December, and I think that got Fulham to persuade Schwarzer to stay.
Where have I been naive? I have not made any generalisations, I have simply stated that Speroni will not want to leave, he just isn't that kind of guy.
I will bet you anything Speroni doesn't leave us this summer.
I don't kid myself that pro footballers will never move away. It is the fact that Speroni is not the type of guy to go purely for money, and that he loves it here that make me certain he won't leave. He could have left in January if...
I'm sure he did. But Speroni is similar to Freedman in that they have come to the stage in their career having been here so long and been idolised by many for so long that it would take something special to move them.
This is since CPFC2010 took over. The likes of Kuqi etc from pre-admin recently were on silly money. I heard AJ was on stupid, and I mean really stupid, money when he signed a new deal after relegation.
Bennett is 22. With all respect (this isn't a Brighton dig) he wants what's best for his career, and at his age doesn't need to worry about stability, and so a move to the Premier League clearly left him with little to think about.
Speroni, having been with Palace what, 7 seasons I think, and...
Yup, if we get enough money for them. No need to sell. Ambrose will take a biggish offer, probably from Warnock. Clyne only has a year left, but it looks like we are willing to risk a low fee at the tribunal and keep him for another year unless we get a decent offer. Speroni is going nowhere, he...
Danns did, yes, but you can't blame him, Leicester seem to be offering stupid money at the moment to anyone and everyone.
Claude Davis we withdrew our contract offer, which was stupid of us, but there you go.
Djilali went as he wanted to play football, and probably won't get much money as he...
I have said from the start I want to keep him, because I like a few others and hopefully Dougie believe that he does have something to offer - he is I'd say one of the top 3 passers in our squad, and can clearly hit a ball well as shown by his 3 goals this season. And for all the times people go...
