    Millwall have given Murray a RUBBISH offer. Southamton have not offered anything yet. Brighton have offered to effectively almost double his current wages.

    If he goes it wil be to another club in the south east because he is settled with a new girlfriend who is based in London. The ex of one of the London Wasps. I tend to think he will stay - but equally won't be labelling him a judas if he decides to move for more money.

    I never understand where the notion of agents being greedy comes from. Their job is to get the best deal for their client. That is what they are paid to do.

    No, but they probably are not setting a £6.5k informal wage cap. Also, Southampton already pay way above what we do for players, Palace have new ownership with fairly ambitious plans and Millwall have an additional season in the Championship to us.

    Also, Murray has seen El Abd and Bennett given new deals during the same time period he was being told his would not be discussed. Not as simple as Murray and his agent being greedy.

    Albion won't pay over £6.5k a week, or thereabouts. Murray has been sounded out over offers approaching nearer £10k from elsewhere. I can see why there is deadlock and anyone who says they would not at least consider the alternatives if offered another c50 per cent on your wage offer is...
