Didnt Gus say that the transfer kitty and the wages kitty are seperate pots and one cannot be used for the other so on that assumption whether we sold Noone or not Orlandi and Lopez were destined to come in unless you re suggesting that the wages paid to Noone covers most of both of their wages

I agree but that was not the point happygull said that we didnt put crosses into Ulloa during the 2nd half of Forest game which is untrue we did but the quality of the crosses last night wasnt as good, perhaps if Orlandi had been on they may have been as he is the best crosser of the ball bar...

According to wikipedia all 3 transfers happened on the same day. Orlandi and Lopez came in and Noone left.

I think our biggest let down last night was our balls into the box from wide positions for Ulloa to attack, they were generally poor. This was so disappointing after our 2nd half performance against Forest.

My point was not Noone but the fact that he was sold and not replaced therefore we had 1 less option from the bench.

That is exactly right because had we won it wouldn't have been relevant as the squad would have been good enough but we didnt and the squad proved again that it isnt. I am not sure however, where the fault lies, is it Gus not finding the players or the money not being available I dont know...

Is it not always said that a team is only as strong as the players they can bring in. As regards injuries and suspensions we were missing Bruno and Barnes neither of whom would be classed as the man to unlock an ultra defensive team.
