Say what you like against CH, but we always looked solid at the back and rarely got completely smashed. We lost a lot of games by a goal or two, but rarely by more than that.
And we looked dangerous from set pieces.
Was it exciting? Not so much. But it did get the fundamentals mostly right.
Well nobody can be forced to work, not since 1807. But presumably we'd have to pay off RDZ's contract unless he'd agree to waive it. And why should he?
My dog was whining to go out at the very end of the first half there. He spent about ten minutes just going back and forward, spinning around, going half squat then changing his mind before finally taking a shit.
Yeah, watching this game has been a similar level of frustration.
Yeah, wasn't there some clause to prevent him leaving before the summer? Seemed like a genius move after Potter, but I wonder if this hasn't bitten us in the ass now.
This. It used to be that I'd think come halftime De Zerbi will work his magic, make some changes and we'll come roaring back into this game.
It's been so long since that has actually happened.
This is my big issue with RDZ. He seems entirely unwilling to be pragmatic. He tries to play the tactics of his best XI rather than adjusting to the best tactics for the players he actually has.
