Of course it is, but turning down a contract offer won't alter/affect/adjust that existing contract he's on - it just means that he will continue to earn "only" £5k per week (or whatever that existing contract stipulates) instead of £25k per week (or whatever the new contract offer stipulates)...

Ha! I happen to know who that poster is. He has had a couple of links to the club over the years. I respect his opinion (as he's been far closer to the coalface than me) but I did disagree with a lot of what he posted!
