As I have heard several times over the past hour - our World Cup hopes are 'hanging on a thread' and it isn't in our hands.
How ironic! Week in, week out we fans support our teams... and neither the performance nor the outcome is 'in our hands'....
Nio difference for us.
Looking at the South Stand from East Stand Upper, I was surprised at how empty the stadium looked.... only 500 away supporters and several sections of the ground seemed to have a lot of empty seats....
Was there really over 26,000 people at the match?
I heard Archer is seriously ill... just a rumour but seemed genuine. Anyone know? It got me thinking of how much progress we made since those dark days.
Maybe I'm mad, but there is a part of me that would like them to see the Amex to witness what has been achieved DESPITE their attempts to run...
My father died this morning.
He had a long and mostly happy life.
Why am I posting? Because, he was a lifelong Albion Supporter and he passed his enthusiam to me. Unlike me, he was good at football and played goalkeeper for Brighton boys under the then manager, the great Tommy Cook.
.... and...
If I remember correctly it was when waiting to see the Albion take on Hull City at the Withdean in about 2000; it was certainly before the neighbours complained and music at the match was banned....
John Farnham's 'You're the Voice' boomed out and I thought 'this is a fine song and some of the...

I like the comment about Vicente... got some of them anxious anyway!
After being relocated to accomodate away fans, I have been offered 2 season tickets in the East stand... as follows....
Season Ticket X 2 2012/13 E2E2DF
Can anyone tell me exactly where these seats are in East Stand- particularly the proximity to away fans? My wife wants to avoid the abuse...
Hi all
I remember last year some kind person attaching a link to the seating plan for the Amex. As I am being advised that I may have to move from my East Block seat next year if planning permission goes through, I wonder if anyone has access to that link so I can make an informed choice of...
I have supported Albion since 1966 and the days of Kit Napier, Norman Gall, Brian Powney etc...
Even in those distant days I dreamed that I would enjoy marital and family harmony while still maintaining my passion for our great club. Sadly for a whole range of complicated (and boring) reasons...
Excellent performance and result from us last night; I am still buzzing with it!
Looking at the Norwich line up that was so humiliated, I notice neither Crofts not Bennett played (although Bennett was a sub). At least their reputation is intact! I suppose Premiership survival is the only focus...
Looks like Cardiff fans are conceding that we were the better team. Just as well - we were!

I went to the Doncaster game with my son, who recently watched Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium. He assured me that (like at the Emirates) we would not be able to bring rucksacks (with flask, sandwiches etc) into the ground; however, when we got in I saw several fans with small haversacks and...
Weatherwise, it is a day to forget.
BUT
Today, one of the most talented players ever to put on an Albion shirt has re-signed for us, after the most agonising wait.
AND
Today, I join the ranks of season ticket holders (the two I ordered arrived in the post this afternoon)
...a moment to...
I noticed in the Argus today that a long-time Albion supporter was given his season ticket for this season.... can anyone tell me how/when we actually get them?
When the Murray saga began at the end of the season, I was confused and depressed. How could he even contemplate going to another club when we have so much going for us? Great manager, great chairman, great new ground.... what could anyone offer that could top that? The perfect season was...
My son has bought us a couple of season tickets, so we can see the Albion regularly next season. We realised quite early on that tickets would be popular - and so it proved. The trouble is, with my work commitments and my son being at University, we are not going to be able to get to some of the...
