Unless West Ham offer £20m for him, given he's only got one year left on his contract... He may decide himself that a bumper 4-5 year contract there might be preferable to staying with us.
I think you're right on Sarmiento... he's just not going to get a place. However, I would argue that Moran's loan spells have both been better than Ayari's were. Doesn't mean he'll have Ayari's success of course, but I've learnt not to write players off based on their loan spells
People are being VERY harsh on Pedro without knowing the facts at all. Who knows what's going on in his personal life right now, who knows how the conversation with FH went? No one knows anything. I hope, if he does go, he gets the recognition he deserves. Despite what some people seem to think...
You were very lucky with that seat selection ;) .
What I found strange was that the venue was a sports bar, and they decided not to put on the League 1 Play-off Final. We had a beer and went to the pub at Liverpool Street to watch it there
I've said a few times that he reminds me of David Platt. Decent player with the ball, but has a great knack of popping up in front of goal with time and space
You're right. I was SURE I had read that they were banned, but it seems they were given a reprieve. Given that, I can't see Palace getting excluded now. Shame
While you're right, what gives me hope is that Toulouse were ejected from Europe only two years ago for this same reason. There is a recent precedent, and the rules can't have changed that much
Agree. He's been excellent and grown into a leader for us. Having said that, if he left for good money I wouldn't be too upset as it happens. He's done his bit, given great memories and goes with my (irrelevant) blessing.
If Mitoma leaves, I'm crying
I'd be interested to know how this would differ between fans who only go to home fans and those that regularly go away. I'm in the latter and have had a great time. We're competitive in every game, play attacking football, and are a genuinely good team. It's hard to be critical
I saw Roy Hodgson & his wife walking along the Hove Promenade a few weeks ago. And then thirty minutes later I saw Igor. It was quite the exciting stroll
The complaint about Pervis often seems to be that he's caught out of position too much. This is utter nonsense... tactically he's told to push on, and at times the opposing team takes advantage of that. It's not Pervis being caught out of position, it's a tactical decision FH makes.
