Saddened to hear about this, especially for the children injured and who witnessed it.
It seems many people have a very sensitive trigger to go into a rage nowadays. I don't like being in big crowds anymore, sadly, for this reason
Sometimes I liked him, sometimes I didn't but I must say I'll miss him on MOTD. Nice little tribute on the show, well deserved tbf. Sadly couldn't understand a word Gazza said though...
Just checked and GA is £123 for Neil Young at Hyde Park. Love you mate but, yeah, thanks but no thanks ☹️. I'll stick a live album on that day. Jeez I miss the old days, feel sorry for kids nowadays (and artists).
Will often use:
- "Funny how? Funny like a clown? I amuse you?" (if someone ever says anything like you're funny to me. One of the best scenes from any movie of course, Goodfellas). Some people occasionally get it.
- Will often say "We're in the pipe, 5 by 5" when setting off on a journey...
I do understand the reasons artists charge high prices now for their gigs but as a frequent gig and festival goer in the 90s and early 2000s I can rarely justify the outlay nowadays. Most times it's buy a ticket or for the same amount buy their whole back catalogue.
Severely tempted to see...
Such a hard choice over which team losing is funnier....to tight to call for me, as either losing has such positives. Will definitely be watching.
I do expect United to fluke a win though.
Regardless, it'll be a relief that Ange will leave. Will he ever re-find his humour or grow over his...
I don't mind Lin-acre at all although did think he was overpaid. There's too much hubris around him now though for the BBC to handle , and it's frankly boring, so it's good for him to leave. It's somewhat refreshing that a high profile person will speak out about the actions of the IDF and the...
Not a great fan at all of Elton John and his big hits but his Tumbleweed Connection album (1970), with no hits, as a play-through album is absolutely beautiful. Same for Joe Cocker. His Stingray album (1976) seems unknown but as a whole-album listen is a blinder.... but I don't like anything...
I feel as bad as I did at the Kelvin Morton game, as I did at the 5-0 at Selhurst and the 2-0 playoff game..... But it's just internal, I don't think many Palace fans are that bothered by the rivalry tbh. So feck em. It does make us want to do better and, for me, them fecking up the possibility...
I can't believe you are serious? Losing to Palace would be very embarrassing for City. I fully expect a strong team and them to go for it today in 90. I don't get all this doom and gloom that it's inevitable that Palace will win, they've fluked their way to the final so far.
