Education and certainly social care probably a bit more under staffed and under funded than the Premier League though....
Managing in adult social care and dealing with CQC, God I hated dealing with them due to lack of time, staff and resources but if I was a Premier League funded Compliance...
Not read all the posts yet. Prefer at first to post without influence.
Have to say I agree with the "comforting untruth" view on God and written religion (Kurt Vonnegut?).
It's nice to think that when someone you love dies that they meet up with their lost loved ones, and that you also will...
Haters gotta hate. Strange player to pick though.
He didn't do well with goal granted but any shot hit hard and low, particularly, can creep in between the gap between hand and foot.
If I was faced with three of those "types" (that are often in this job because they're just "itching" to remove someone physically) and it was getting close to becoming physical - even if I knew I was right - I'd get off. And simply get on the next train. I'm surprised they didn't fine you...
I loved the Wrong Trousers at the time. Excuse me but I found this one a little lame and unengaging. Maybe I just wasn't in the mood or just too much of the same.
I just don't get it.
The folks bought a £25 Panettone from the Italian deli. Twenty five pand.
I've had cheaper ones and this mega expensive one.
I'd pay £25 to eat a slice with clotted cream off the belly of a young Kelly Brook... but otherwise.... every time I'm given one I just don't get...
Bah humbug but the truth is I can't stand Christmas (I don't believe in any religion written by Man and I hate the fact that the rampant commercialism means massive amounts of Chinese shite later to be dumped in the ground, sea or be burnt) but..... I do love a Christmas Carol. Probably just...
Why would they get rid of it? It's part of the club history. It also contains photos of a friend of mine who died and this was part of her memorial so personally I'd be furious if it was just binned off in a refurb, probably by staff who are newbies. So I hope it can be displayed somewhere.
Was invited out with friends to see a (shit)Elvis comedy tribute in Hassocks. 4 pints later driver offered me a lift home (less than a mile for them). I was like what? Feck off, no thanks, I'll walk to the station. Was surprised people still did this. Not sure I'll be in contact with them again...
Young manager with potential is learning as he goes, oh, with a young squad doing the same. Too much moaning on here from fans who suddenly think they are entitled. Lots of mistakes being made but we are in no danger, at all, of relegation. Personally, I'm happy to follow this journey to the...
This will be the first home game vs Palace I've missed since my first season watching the Albion ('87). Just can't afford it , this close to Christmas (and several December birthdays). Annoying, mildly embarrassed even, but such is life.
If he drinks alcohol then a decent spirit or wine. Certainly wouldn't buy a male mate aftershave, bit odd imo and might upset the other half. Nothing wrong with a football related gift. Film related t-shirts (classy, left field one) I'd always happily receive if you know my favourite movies...
Went into a famous independent jewellers a few days back to sell some gold. Old bloke served me, the original proprietor no less. Dropped a few small pieces out of the scale rather than into the scale, maybe just half a gram or so but I had to prompt him. Weighed it all up and then spent a...
Such a sad story and the schools and social services seemingly aware for years of violence in the family and bruises and burns on thegirl. The biological mother seemingly an utter violent **** too. Gave me goosebumps and the chills to watch the little girl singing and playing the guitar.
Aliens, of course.
Not mentioned yet but I've also enjoyed repeat plays of:
Prey (best of the Predator films since the original imo)
The Black Hole (loved this more than any of the Star Wars when I saw it at the cinema as a child. Nice and dark)
